La Corvette Marseille soap with olive oil is an ecological product. Gentle on the skin, its hypoallergenic formulation is highly appreciated by allergic, sensitive, or irritated skin and is suitable for the whole family! Used for body hygiene or as a cleaning product, for laundry or the home, Marseille soap is an effective, traditional, highly economical product that lasts a long time.

 

The color of the soap can vary from light green to dark green depending on the production batches due to the vegetable oils used from one cauldron to another. This gives La Corvette soaps the authenticity of a product made from naturally sourced materials and does not affect the quality of the finished product.

Sodium Olivate, Sodium Cocoate, Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide

La Corvette Marseille soaps – Savonnerie du Midi contain a minimal amount of glycerin. This glycerin comes from the natural saponification process and is not added to the soap. This glycerin is removed during the washing stages of the Marseille process. However, a small trace remains in the finished product, and regulations require La Corvette to list it in their ingredients.

How to use:

Marseille soap is renowned as an exceptional product for its numerous benefits and versatile uses, whether for personal hygiene or eco-friendly home cleaning.

For hygiene: Marseille soap for the whole family’s bathing: it can replace shower gels, synthetic soaps, and even shampoo! Hypoallergenic, it is recommended by dermatologists for sensitive skin (eczema, allergies, etc.).
Marseille soap as shaving foam: it lathers abundantly and can be used as shaving foam for men’s beards or as shaving soap for legs.
Marseille soap to soothe wounds and aid in the healing of scrapes.

For home cleaning: Marseille soap as a stain remover: rub the dry stain with a moistened soap block. Spread the foam over the garment, let sit for 10 minutes, then rinse with water.
Marseille soap as laundry detergent: grate your soap block with a cheese grater. Dissolve a handful of the obtained shavings (60g) in 1L of hot water. Shake and let sit for 24 hours. Stir again, add 1L of cold water, and your eco-friendly detergent is ready to use! Shake well before each use.
Marseille soap as a degreasing cleaner for walls, floors, and surfaces: dissolve Marseille soap shavings in a small amount of hot water. Clean the home’s surfaces, walls, or floors using a scrub brush or sponge, and rinse with clean water.
