Gomasio is a dry condiment in Japanese cuisine – made from unhulled sesame seeds and salt. The sesame seeds are slightly roasted separately and then ground together with the seasalt – thus each grain of salt is covered with the oil of the sesame seeds. Lima Gomasio Spreader is a convenient way to enjoy slightly roasted sesame seeds and unrefined sea salt. Sesame seeds are a good source of calcium and magnesium. Plus, this is a healthy and tasty seasoning with much less sodium than pure salt. Tastes great in warm dishes, grain dishes, soups, and is suitable for garnishing salads and raw vegetables.
